Flight Path 2030 gives Red Wing students more ways to explore computing, data, artificial intelligence, and future-ready learning.
Some opportunities will happen through regular classes. Others may happen through electives, summer programs, scholarships, or outside learning experiences.
Planning Your Winger Flight Path
In grades 8–12, the Winger Flight Paths framework helps students explore their interests, plan intentionally and connect courses and experiences to opportunities after graduation.
New Courses
Students will see more ways to explore computing, data, artificial intelligence, and responsible technology use within existing courses, as well as new courses.
Mark Cuban AI Bootcamp
High school students can explore artificial intelligence through a free learning experience focused on how AI works, where it is used, and how to use it responsibly.
National Aspirations in Computing
Students interested in computing or technology can explore a national community with resources, recognition, mentorship, scholarships, and future opportunities.
Summer STEM Scholarships at MSOE
Red Wing students may seek scholarships to attend summer programs at Milwaukee School of Engineering, where they can explore STEM learning on a college campus.
Ron Gray Post-Secondary Scholarships at MSOE
Beginning in the 2026-27 school year, Red Wing High School graduating seniors will have a new opportunity to apply for post-secondary scholarships to Milwaukee School of Engineering.
