Nine students took advantage of Flight Path 2030 scholarships to attend Milwaukee School of Engineering programs during July. MSOE highlighted our collaboration.

Red Wing High School alumnus Dwight Diercks has pledged $3.2 million to help Red Wing Public Schools become a center of excellence in artificial intelligence education. 

Flight Path 2030 is helping Red Wing students explore what they might want their future to look like. Beginning in 2026-27, students in grades 7-12 will have new ways to try future-ready skills, discover interests, and make more informed choices before graduation.

During the first year of Flight Path 2030, Red Wing teachers and staff took part in professional learning connected to AI, data, computing, and classroom instruction.

Applications open Aug. 1, 2026. AI Bootcamp will be held on three Saturdays: Oct. 31, Nov. 7, and Nov. 14.

Flight Path 2030 is Red Wing Public Schools’ five-year plan to give students more future-ready learning opportunities before they graduate. Through 2030, the district will add new courses, teacher support, partnerships, and hands-on experiences in areas like data, computing, artificial intelligence, and real-world problem solving.
