Community Conversation Helps Shape Flight Path 2030

The first Flight Path 2030 Community Forum was held Jan. 12, 2026, at Red Wing High School.

The forum was designed as a community conversation about Flight Path 2030, Red Wing Public Schools’ five-year initiative to expand future-ready learning for students. Families, staff, students, board members, community partners, and guests gathered to learn more about the work already underway and ask questions about what comes next.

The evening included remarks from Superintendent Bob Jaszczak and a fireside chat with Jennifer Rosato of the Northern Lights Collaborative for Computing Education and Hannah Weissman of Data Science 4 Everyone. Speakers discussed how computing, data, artificial intelligence, and responsible technology use are shaping education, careers, and the skills students will need after graduation.

Attendees also received information about new and upcoming student opportunities connected to Flight Path 2030, including expanded coursework, summer learning opportunities, and other ways students can explore computing, data, AI, and real-world problem-solving.
